OK for those of you who don't know the story I have been playing the potty game with Whitney on and off since mid March she went a couple of time but no real big deal I was just getting her ready you know walking her though the stages so that when she was ready she would know what to do. So, on Sunday she had been looking at me or Mike all day and would say "Wet" and then go running in to her room and then say "diaper" so I got fed up and said OK you can tell me your wet and you need a diaper you can use the potty so I took her to the potty and she went and of course got "prizes" stickers and smiles (
gummies) (started training Sunday Night). But that did not seem to work to well on day Wednesday so I had a chocolate bar in the candy jar just waiting for me to have a chocolate craving one day and I said to myself maybe just maybe this would work so the next time I took her potty and she went I hand her a piece of chocolate and it has been a success every since I have even gotten a stinky or two out of her and I will not tell you a lie we have still had some accident but now where near as many as we were having. I am using panties like training pants (cloth) during the day and pull up (pamper) at nap and bedtime. This seems to be going great. I keep you posted on how things go with in the next few weeks.

For those of you who know how Mike potty trained yes I used this method for a couple of times and she got the hang of it I think it has something to do with the focal point (all most like not focusing on
getting off but playing with the stickers and flushing the toilet time and time again some how made her focus on what she was supposed to be doing) and just about every time now I put her
forward facing and so her some M&M's and she goes like a champ. I am so very proud of her, Hang in there Ladies it just takes
Patience and P
erseverance.

Go Whitney! Grammy is so proud of you. What a cute idea to put pictures on the lid of the commode, Allie!
