Please Create A Blog

The newest craze in the world wide web is for families to have a blog. This is my way of inviting all of our family and friends to create a blog for all of the family to see what everyone is up to. Since many of us live too many miles apart to see each orther frequently. I know some of ya'll are thinking that, I wish I had started a blog when one of the children were born. But not to worry, you can always go in and title a post with whatever memories that you wish to share or you can start fresh with the age that the kids are now and go on from there. My sister in law introduced us to blogging when her first was born, then helped us start one soon after Whitney was born. This is a great way of sharing what you and your kids do, venting what is on you mind, announcing events coming up and anything else that comes to mind. If anyone does decide to create a blog I will try to help with anything I can or at least try to point you in the right direction. To create a blog there a many different sites that you can go with, the system that my sister-in-laws and I use is www.blogger.com it is quite simple to create one in blogger, 3 steps and your done then all you have to do is create you first post. If you do create a blog, please e-mail allisonfink@cableone.net me back with your site name so that I may add it to my blog list. Also, I am sorry for any e-mails that have been sent out from my blog that are blank. This comes from an auto update that if I publish a post and then edit it, it chages everything. Just ignore the blank ones or messed up ones and go on to the next one.

Blog Update

OK, I am just about through playing around with the blog. I have added several new features such as page tabs, the interactive puzzle is larger and at the bottom of the front page, and many more. Just flip through the page tabs(left hand column on all pages) and let me know what you think. If you do not have an account you can post as anonymous and then sign your name to it or not. I am still trying to find a few things that I want to do to the blog. Such as my front page (main page) being a little messed up for some reason. I can not get a photo in my header, the page tabs are not exactly how I wanted them, and I added star ratings, and reactions in which none of which are showing up on the front page. I will be posting up dated pictures of the kids starting tomorrow in their specific pages so you will need to check them because right now I only have emails going out on the front page site. If you have any suggestions that you would like to see or that I have left off that you liked left me know either by email allieandmike@gmail.com or in the comment section.

I have figured out what date Whitney and Dalton's Birthday Party will be on but I have not yet figured out what we will be doing for a party if you any suggestions post them in the comments.

Sporting A New Tooth

Dalton has just cut his first tooth.This afternoon after dinner before bath, for some reason I stuck my finger in Dalton's mouth and there it was his first tooth. For those of you wondering yes he did beat his sister she cut her on the 30th of August.

I Found These!!

I was going through all of our pictures and ran across these I thought it was just to cute that I had taken similar pictures with the kids and did not even know it. Whitney's were taken in December sometime and Dalton's were taken sometime in January.

Still working on Blog

Sorry for the delay but I am working on the blog in my spare time. I hope to be posting more activities of the kids later this week.

Blog Update

Ok so if you have been keeping up I have been doing alot of changes to our blog. I have now added page tabs they are located on the left hand side of the blog. I will be doing alot more to the blog so just hang in there and I will get it all fixed sooner or later. If you have any comments or suggestion please attach them in its post for now.

BIRTHDAY CARD  Its title was Yankee Doodle Teddy. I thought it was great due to the fact that alot of people call her Yank.

Bath Time At The Fink House!!!!!!!!!!

Whitney likes to jump in the tub as soon as the water starts and Dalton waits patiently for me to put him in.
Whitney splashes Dalton and they both Giggle about it.
As you can see Whitney is up to something.
She got her cup full of water and poured it on his head. He didn't care for it very much.

Then they played nicely for a little bit. Bath time normally last for about 30 minutes or so.

Bath time at the Fink house is normally very lively, I used to bathe them one at a time but that is very time takeing and I always had one that wanted to be in the tub when the other one was so I started bathing them together. This is much more fun they generally play very nice.

Taking Baby Brother For A Walk

Tonight after dinner and getting "aggs" Whitney and I started playing with Dalton and she grabs his hands pulls him to his feet and starts walking with him just like I would do.






Whitney is dancing with Dalton, she steps on his foot and boom he falls to his bottom.

After a minute or two of calming him down Whitney hugs him and they are off to play again.

This past week Dalton has crawling on all four and this was the first time I could get a picture of him.



Yea!!!!!!!!!!! I made it all the way to my Mommy! Also on the way back from Bella's party he said Ma Ma.. He has been saying Dada for about a month.

Community Geese

This is the chicken coop for now and our feed and storage barn as you see the chickens and ducks are standing their ground. The duck's really did, they kept pacing in front of the building. I swear they are like guard dogs. The chicken's just kind of ran for cover.


This past weekend the community geese discovered our front pasture, driveway and front yard. Then today after the rain they discovered our garden, back pasture, almost the chicken coop. (The metal building they only stay in their at dark and when they go in to lay eggs or get feed.) As you see there are like 50 or so geese. Whitney had a ball looking out the window during dinner and when dinner was over we went out to get eggs "aggs" and they were still out there, she took off running after them and then they took off in flight and she stopped in amazement.

Black and White Cute Kids!!!!!!!!!

They sat nicely just long enough for me to grab a shot then Dalton dropped to his knees and tried to crawl just being saved by Mommy and the grace of God. Before tumbling to the floor. (It was a very close call)
Then a sad sister while Dalton was crying because it was a very close call Whitney just had a very sad face then she climbed down and then threw herself on the floor and did a fake cry just to get my attention.

Then climbed back up and you got this face.

This was my attempt of taking black and white photos of the kids this morning. After straightening the Destruction Whitney Alley.

Look, Look!!!!!

Whenever I put Whitney's hair up or put a bow in it I will set her down off of her changing table and tell her to go look at her hair and how cute it is hoping that she will want to keep it that way. The past few times I have done this she will go to the mirror and say to herself or me Look, look!!!! This Morning she did a little dance and threw herself in the floor with a big smile.

Just so happened I had the camera out and George was laying in the floor.

Dalton's Teething

For some reason or another my children never really took a passy but when they are teething both of them will find one somewhere (normally in a toy box or a drawer) and will start chewing on it like its is no tomorrow.

Destruction Whitney

Whitney got bit by a Mosquito last night in her bedroom. How the thing got in her room I do not know. You will see little red marks on her back. (She normally sleep on her belly)

Then we had to play with the rails of course.

Destruction Whitney strikes again this morning the kids and I were playing in Whitney's bedroom (where the bulk of their toys are) and the next thing I knew was Whitney had taken her mattress out of its frame and by the time I got back this is what we see taking place.
